FLOW ENGINEERING / SINCE 1974

Half a century of flow engineeringTurning ideas into reality

Taking piping possibilities beyond conventional design.

50 years of pipe branching expertise.
We propose materials, geometry, and manufacturing methods before drawings are finalized.
Together, we turn flow, strength, and manufacturability requirements into the right solution.

PROJECTSProjects

Projects that began with,'Can this be made?'

From unusual sizes to one-off parts, start by telling us your requirements.

BURRING HEADER

Burring Headers

Stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminium, titanium, copper and more. Talk to us about multi-outlet branches from prototype through to production.

LARGE DIAMETER

Large-Diameter & Slotted Burring

Sizes and shapes that ordinary equipment struggles with, including large vacuum vessels and energy plant.

SPECIAL JOINT

Metal AM & Special Fittings

For complex shapes that standard fittings cannot cover, we combine special processing with metal 3D printing.

Manufacturing Services

Choose the manufacturing service that best fits your objective.

1/8〜60 inch
A main pipe with branches of various diameters formed directly by burring

Burring Forming

Branches are formed directly from the main pipe to reduce welding, improve strength, flow performance, dimensional accuracy, and quality control, and enable more compact units.

Multiple materials and complex geometries
A complex piping manifold formed as one piece by metal additive manufacturing

Metal AM & Special Fittings

Flow paths that are difficult to achieve with standard parts or welded assemblies are integrated through metal additive manufacturing and special processing. We work through application, flow, strength and post-processing to arrive at a manufacturable form.

Machine Development & Dedicated Equipment

We design and build burring machines and dedicated equipment for each application, and support the whole process — sharing our know-how, establishing machining conditions, and assisting with improvements.

Welding & Fabrication

Machined parts through to welding and fabrication, handled in house. We build piping, vessels, frames and ducts to suit each application, at consistent quality.

On-site measurement and reverse engineering
On-site restoration of partial piping, fittings and headers targeted for maintenance

On-Site Survey & Pipe/Fitting Reconstruction

We measure on site the partial piping, special fittings and headers that plant maintenance requires replacing or repairing. The existing geometry is reverse engineered, then proposed and produced in a manufacturable form.

Jigs & Prototyping

From form and fit checks with polymer 3D printing through to working prototypes combining metal additive manufacturing and machining. Machining jigs and inspection fixtures are also designed and built to suit each application.

HOW TO CONSULTHow to Start

Even before drawings are finalized, talk with our engineers.

Our engineers review your idea directly, even at the early 'can this be made?' stage.

  1. 01

    Share requirements

Drawings are not required. Tell us the application, material, size, quantity and the problem you are facing.

  2. 02

    Engineering review

We look beyond whether it can be machined, weighing safety, quality and cost across welding and fabrication too.

  3. 03

    Method and quotation

We explain the recommended method, any prototyping required, the expected lead time and the quotation.

COMPANYAbout Araki Technical

Engineering tomorrow,
one step ahead.

Fifty years spent on pipe branching. From our works in Jike-cho, Yokohama, we have pursued new ways to branch piping — machining, machine development and sharing know-how. Being a small organisation means our engineers work close together on every problem.
